New York Marathon 2016
Running for our little heroes!
Each year Little Heroes Foundation sends a team to participate in one of the world's largest and more challenging marathons, the New York Marathon.
It's no secret that marathons are not for the faint-hearted, with the New York circuit spanning over 42km, but running in the New York Marathon is a once in a lifetime experience! And in 2016 you won’t be alone!
After convincing him to return to Slowdown in 2015, our very own Chris McDermott will be making the trip over to the Big Apple, along with Channel 7/Today Tonight's Rosanna Mangiarelli, Port Adelaide FC legend Kane Cornes, Channel 9's sports presenter Tom Rehn, and Luke Jarrad of corporate sponsor Woodville-West Torrens.
Want to join our team of super star runners?
Little Heroes Foundation is offering you the chance to join this unique group to run the 2016 New York Marathon and raise funds for seriously ill children. The package includes accommodation in New York, return flights, official New York City Marathon souvenir running shirt, transfers to the start of the marathon and, most importantly, the pre-race carb-loading pasta dinner!
Not running? You can still support your runner and experience this incredible event.
